Plumbing and Full Re-Piping in Ankara
We solve leaks, low pressure, blockages and rusty water at the source, renewing the plumbing in one go alongside your bathroom and kitchen renovation.
Overview
A damp patch spreading from the flat below, cloudy water from the tap or a drain that keeps blocking all lead to the same question: should the plumbing be repaired or replaced? To make that decision correctly, you first need to see where the problem comes from. In our plumbing works in Ankara, our aim is to eliminate the cause, not just the symptom.
Çayyolu Architecture & Construction carries out planned plumbing work in homes, villas and commercial premises in Ankara, covering water supply, waste water, central heating and items connected to the internal natural gas installation. Thanks to our 20 years of renovation experience, when we carry out full re-piping we also restore the broken tiles, plaster and paintwork, so the job is never left half-finished. Instead of running between a plumber, a tiler and a painter, you work with a single point of contact.
In the event of an urgent leak, the first thing to do is turn off the main stopcock to prevent further damage. Then send us photos and a short description; we will assess the situation and arrange the best time for a site visit together with you. A lasting solution depends on seeing where the problem really originates.

A Closer Look
When Is Re-Piping Necessary?
A leak at a single point can often be solved with a local repair. However, if problems keep recurring, the entire system may have aged. Particularly in buildings constructed many years ago, the following situations point towards complete replacement:
- Recurring leaks and damp at different points
- A marked drop in pressure at the taps
- Rust-coloured or foul-smelling water
- Drains that block often or empty slowly
- Plans for a comprehensive bathroom or kitchen renovation

How Is a Full Re-Piping Carried Out?
First, we examine the route of the existing lines and the distribution from the main stopcock onwards. We plan the pipe system, manifold layout and valve positions for the new installation so as to make future maintenance and repairs easier. In wet areas, waterproofing is handled together with the plumbing; before tiling, we make sure this layer has been applied in full.
Once the pipework is laid, we pressure-test the lines; we do not move on to closing up and finishing until the test result is satisfactory. We then carry out the tiling, plaster and paint repairs, fit the taps and fittings and hand the system over in working order. In apartment buildings, where connections to the main riser are needed, we also liaise with the building management when necessary.

How Are Price and Duration Determined?
The cost of a full water supply re-piping depends on the number of wet areas, the length of the lines, the grade of pipes and fittings chosen, and the scope of tiling and wall repairs. The duration is likewise determined by the scope of the work. After an on-site inspection, we provide a clear, itemised quotation and work schedule. Frequently Asked Questions
Can’t find the answer you are looking for? Give us a call — we will listen to your project and answer your questions right away.
0312 240 51 51How much does a full water supply re-piping cost?
The price depends on the number of wet areas, the length of the lines, the grade of pipes and fittings and the scope of tiling and wall repairs. We provide a clear quotation after an on-site visit.
How many days does re-piping take?
The duration depends on the scope of the work. A single bathroom and the plumbing for an entire flat require different programmes; after the site visit, we give you a written work schedule.
Do you have to break open everything to find a leak?
No. We first narrow down the source by examining the symptoms and the route of the pipes, which allows us to keep the area of breaking-out as small as possible.
Can the plumbing be done at the same time as a bathroom renovation?
Yes, and that is the best approach. By carrying out the plumbing, waterproofing, tiling and sanitaryware works in a single programme, we avoid having to break things open a second time.
Can the building’s main riser also be replaced?
Because the main riser is part of the shared areas, it is replaced by decision of the building management. By liaising with the management, we can also prepare a site visit and quotation for renewing the shared lines.
