Villas on sloping plots often feature stepped gardens and terraces at different levels. By designing these levels with steps, retaining walls and planting, we give each level its own use: a breakfast terrace, an evening seating area, a children’s play area and so on.

In double-height living rooms, scale, light and acoustics must be considered together. Large pendant lights, wall-to-wall bookcases and textured surfaces warm up tall volumes and reduce echo.
